Silent Evil/Resident Hill
Leon paused to catch his breath, leaning heavily against a dead tree. Fighting off a whole village of people infected with Las Plagas armed with chainsaws and pitchforks with only a pistol, limited ammo, and a combat knife was nowhere close to a fair fight. In the chaos, Ashley had sprinted away into the growing fog to find a place to hide from the danger. The cold rain that had fallen earlier combined with the hot earth creating the perfect conditions to disappear. Unfortunately that mean Leon didn't know where she ended up either.
"Ashley?!" He shouted into the mist. "It's alright now. I took care of them!"
Silence. Sighing and shaking his head Leon forced himself off the tree trunk, his bare arm getting scrapped by the bark. When he found the person who took his jacket in this village he was going to terminate them with extreme prejudice. It was one of his favorites and his black t-shirt was doing nothing to keep him warm.
Walking further into the fog in the direction he thought Ashley had gone, he continued to call for her. They were so close to reaching the exfil point and getting out of this nightmare.
A flashing red glow caught his attention. Walking cautiously towards it, he had to double take at the appearance of a street light. He had to be hallucinating right? The village he was in had no evidence of electricity let alone enough traffic on their roads to have traffic signals. Looking down, an asphalt road had also appeared.
"What the hell is this?" At a loss, Leon found himself following the road. His mind trying and failing to make sense of where he was now, with where he had been. A sign seemed to apparat out of the fog. It read: "Welcome to Silent Hill."
